Bishop McMullen Legacy Circle
The Bishop McMullen Legacy Circle was established in 1978 to recognize individuals who have included the university in their estate plans or made major commitments to endowment growth. Organizations that have made contributions are also honored. From more than 100 charter members, the Bishop McMullen Legacy Circle has grown to include more than 1,000 benefactors.
Legacy Circle ceremonies are held on campus each year to honor those benefactors and to give special recognition to new members. The St. Ambrose community also remembers the many unnamed individuals who helped preserve the institution through the years prior to the establishment of the Bishop McMullen Legacy Circle.
Today, membership in the Bishop McMullen Legacy Circle recognizes donors who contribute $5000 or more to the endowment fund, or who notify St. Ambrose that they have made provision for the University in their estate plans. Such provisions mays include bequests, trusts, annuities, retirement plans, life insurance policies, or other methods of planned giving.
